Now in its seventh year, the Quebec City Conference (“QCC”) is a private, by invitation-only and not-for-profit annual conference for leading international venture capital and PE firms, institutional and strategic investors, sovereign wealth funds and family offices whose activities produce tangible economic gain and societal benefit, and for public policy makers, industry experts and leading academics in this investment field, in a format intended for high level exchanges and reflection. All participants meet, network and hear distinguished keynote speakers on subjects such as the economy and markets, innovation, emerging markets, and venture capital and private equity. Service providers are not invited. No other conference of this kind exists anywhere else in the world.

Overview of the two day program (Monday and Tuesday, October 25 and 26).

  • First Day (October 25): 9:00 am to 5:00 pm – The Following By-Invitation-Only Forums are Held:
    • Institutional Investors Forum (“IIF”) is a round table discussion for the most senior executives of major global investors (pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, government reserve funds and other long term investors) focused on addressing challenges of large-scale investment and exploring new models required to access these investments efficiently.
    • Public Policy Forum on Venture Capital and Innovation (“PPF”) has evolved into the premiere gathering of public policy makers and industry leaders (GPs, LPs, academics and other experts) responsible for encouraging high-potential entrepreneurship and venture capital from all major economies. Its objective is to give participants an opportunity to exchange views and concerns regarding public policies in support of a buoyant venture capital ecosystem to finance emerging technology companies. Now in its fourth year, it is an invitation-only event building upon the international audience developed by the Quebec City Conference. Despite substantial demand, attendees are limited to 100.
    • LP Forum (“LPF”) organized under the leadership of Thomson Reuters is intended for senior managers of institutional investors, gatekeepers, funds of funds and asset managers who are investors in private equity or venture capital funds (no direct investors are invited).
    • Family Offices Forum (“FOF”) is a premier gathering of senior managers of large family offices. It is a private round table discussion for sharing perspectives and exploring best practices and investment models.
  • First Day (October 25): 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm – Official Opening of Quebec City Conference – All Participants Attend Cocktail and Stand-up Dinner.
  • Second Day (October 26): 8:00 am to 6:30 pm – Main Conference.

SVCA 2010 Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony

Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SVCA) to celebrate the induction of the pioneers in our industry into the SVCA Hall of Fame and the launch of the SVCA Annual Awards program at the Gala Dinner on October 5th, 2010 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.

The Annual Awards program is being launched this year to recognize the best performing VC/PE backed companies, as well as the best exits realized. Nominations are being received and the finalists will be announced shortly. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner and, depending on the award category, awards will be presented to the portfolio companies, investors, legal advisors and financial advisors associated with the outstanding deals.

Tables (of 10 seats) are now on sale for this elegant Gala event. To book your table, please use the attached response form. Table placement will be based on date of purchase, and you are encouraged to purchase early to ensure prime table location. A few seats will be reserved for SVCA members who would prefer to purchase seats instead of full tables. More information on individual seat sales will be available at a later date.
